If Nike wants to justify their hyped-up prices they need to be consistent with the quality of materials on their top-tier line of Nike/Air Jordan. Also extras like (2-3) laces and very good quality insoles need to be standard across. Nike needs to offer discount points and other incentives to members and lower the free shipping costs which is ridiculous.

The Coway filter lasts 12 months, while the Levoit filter has a shorter lifespan. The Coway seems better; it also uses newer technology. The Levoit is now severel years old.

Way too successful. Nike is the Apple of rubber shoes. Lowering prices only opens their products to none Nike-fanatics. I'm from third world and my brother in law still buys Nike like 12 pairs in a year since the pandemic but he's a fanatic for nearly 20 years. Their bedroom is filled with boxes, he could have made or bought better storage of these shoes. I have tossed to the garbage those pairs that are way too degraded. there is still more than a dozen that are slightly degraded that I have yet to throw away. I'm not like that I don't get it. I've seen the Nike's with air in the 80s and rubber shoes were the thing already since basketball is a national sport here. However, I'm the kid who ask questions all the time so I thought expensive shoes aren't worth dreaming striving for. Can't remember well Nike's margins on $100 shoes from one video but I think it costs them less $10-20 to make a pair of $100 shoes (excluding marketing)

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy with these exact issue on mine till I found this video. Not sure why there’s so much hate as it really is annoying. As you said, once the brush saturates it just smears water everywhere failing to vacuum anything away and fairly small debris doesn’t even get picked up due to the short height of the front. While people say the oatmeal is an exaggerated example it’s not unrealistic at all to demonstrate the main issues. Even simple clean ups struggle due to it.

I have an ecovacs Deebot. When it works it does a reasonable job. However, every so often it loses its map. It is an absolute pain to sort it out. So take Ecovacs out of the picture. As others have said the Dyson filters can be washed and do not need replacement. It’s a pity that Dyson persisted with their 360 vertical camera. Just does not seem a good idea. Battery life seems too short. Auto dust emptying would be nice although the Dyson dust container functionality looks OK. I don’t care about mopping. I would rather a vacuum that does not get tangled, lost or stuck and can find its way home. We are not there yet.

Saying that high prices are just a result of corporate greed seems like a cop out to me. What all these statistics look at is MARGIN per unit sold but it isn’t taking into account the bigger picture and other fixed costs. In order to pay for extremely high fixed costs, companies need to increase margin. It’s not greed, it’s math. With that background it makes sense that companies would say that they’re stretched and that they can’t lower prices even when margin appears high. Then when people aren’t buying they have to get creative to lower prices again. And that usually takes the form of cutting the largest fixed costs they have, meaning layoffs of employees or getting rid of warehouses or other fixed costs that ultimately make things harder for any employees that stick around. It’s a lose lose situation and for some reason people always blame corporate greed. I just don’t buy it. I’m sure it happens sometimes, but it is not nearly as common as I think people love to think it is. That’s the easy answer, but I think the situation is much more complicated than that.
